9-Month-old Eats Heroin, Mom Avoids Prison
from CNN: A New Jersey mother and her boyfriend pleaded guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of a child after the mother’s 9-month-old son ingested heroin inside the family home. The infant was rushed to the hospital where he was treated for an overdose and swelling of the brain. The boy is now in good health and reportedly staying with relatives.
