So, are things rocky with the hit-making band? Tyler says 'no.' "I love the band more than anything," he says. "But I didn't tell them what was going on early on because six months ago they were looking for another lead singer. So, touche. It's all good in the end ... My true heart is with the band."

Tyler also says he hopes that being on the show is way for fans around the world to get to know him in a deeper way. "People get to see who I really am, who my parents were proud of, who my kids love," says Tyler. "The world doesn't know what it takes to sustain a career for 40 years."

Jennifer Lopez will get 12 million dollars to be a judge on American Idol. Good job for Lopez's manager Benny Medina. Will she be an asset for the Fox hit show? It all depends on how much they show her ass. IMHO.

There are more details at Deadline Hollywood in a post entitled "JLo Getting Overall Fox Deal Along With $12 Million 'American Idol'  Judging Job---But Most Diva Demands Were Refused."

Hey, I was serious when I posted that this deal depends on how much they show her ass. What else is she known for? Her singing? Her acting? What?  The more tight clothes she wears the more I would want to watch.  Is she worth 12 million dollars a year for that? Ask Fox executives.

Seriously, imagine all the Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood stories there would be if the cameras would focus on her butt several times throughout the show.  More men would watch for sure.  Well, I'd watch more.

Why all the drama over Antonella Barba and Tara Conner? Barba, a former contestant of American Idol, was criticized for having "lewd" pictures of herself postered over the Internet. These pictures, IMHO, look like the ones an old boyfriend posted to get his 10 minutes of fame. Conner, 2006 Miss USA, was discovered to be a wild partier who liked Coke more than Pepsi.

The drama was schadenfreude at its best and hypocrisy at its worst. Do you honestly think all Miss USA and American Idol contestants are as pure as the Olsen Twins? Most rational people don't.

Is it that some people think pretty girls don't do 'wild' stuff like kiss other girls, do drugs and rob banks. At first, the idiots in the media blamed the wild nightlife of New York sucking in Conner and turning her out. WTF? They don't have crack and meth heads in Kentucky(Conner's home state)? To be fair, Conner did correct the media when she said that she was the way she was before she smelled New York air.

Yes, people some good-looking girls do wild things. It's normal. They aren't influenced by MTV, their friends or Bill Clinton; it's the way they are. Don't hold them to some higher standard than yourself.
