According to Nguyen's own website, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in broadcast journalism.

This accomplishment is somewhat blunted by the fact UT is also a top twenty party school, according to Time Magazine.

Seriously, it's number fifteen.

Harvard, Duke or Stanford isn't on that list.

Betty Nguyen Hosts Early Today (NBC/MSNBC)

Recently, I posted a question asking about the whereabouts of Betty Nguyen, the erudite and beautiful former host of CBS This Morning, (I think the name of the show is CBS This Morning, I don't know, I don't watch it and don't feel like looking it up). Ms. Nguyen had left CBS in 2012.

Well, the talented broadcaster is now a host on NBC's Early Today as you can see in the video above.

Where Is Betty Nguyen?

Betty Nguyen left CBS Morning News in the spring of 2012 and has not been on television since, according to the VlogHog research staff.

I can understand why a talentless hack like me can be unemployed for a year or so but Nguyen is an accomplished news anchor.

Maybe she is in some negotiation with some news outlet and can't appear on TV for a year like Conan O'Brien when he was fired from The Tonight Show.

If any of you have any idea where she is, let us know in the comment section.

Update, as March 28, 2013, Betty Nguyen works for NBC and is one of the host of Early Today which starts at 5:00 am. She's almost worth getting up that early to watch live. But then the DVR wouldn't get used.
