From the WYFF:Pamela Wright joined WYFF 4 in July 2013 as meteorologist on the weekend version of WYFF News 4 Today. Originally from Charleston, SC, Pamela says her career in news and fascination with weather began in 1989 - shortly after Hurricane Hugo roared through her hometown. An English major at the College of Charleston, Pamela studied Meteorology at the University of Wisconsin and through Mississippi State's broadcast meteorology program. But she says it was her nearly twenty years of broadcasting, in climates ranging from the tropics to the 'frozen tundra’, however, that taught her the most!
