Having lived in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia and watched many a traffic report, let me tell you, this is radical. In much of the south, a traffic reporter dressing in a sexy costume would be controversial and the talk of the town. It would be the topic of newspaper commentary sections in every edition. In New York, it's not even a conversation starter.
