Ms. California Crowned Miss USA

From The Associated Press: A 21-year-old California girl won the Miss USA crown on Sunday night and will represent the nation in this year's Miss Universe pageant in September in Brazil. Alyssa Campanella of Los Angeles won this year's pageant in Las Vegas.

Campanella will meet with the president and the Chief Justice of the United States to be sworn in for her official duties. First stop, the Iowa State Fair to oversee the Open Class Sheep competition. Secret Service will be deployed.
