She is a 1990 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School. From Hamilton County, she went to Indiana University to pursue a degree in Business. This wasn't her passion. The weather is her passion. At the urging of her parents, she called Chuck Lofton who advised her to change her major. She did and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Atmospheric Science.----from the WTHR website.
