For a while, I thought I was the only person who watched CNBC which broadcasts one of my favorites shows: "The Millionaire Inside" a show featuring rag to riches millionaires starring Erin Burnett, an anchor who responsible for a massive increase in ratings at CNBC.
Erin Burnett a.k.a. "The Street Sweetie" by threatened males, recently did an interview with Chris Matthews a.k.a. "The Old White Haired Dude In The Video Below" who recently was forced off election coverage at MSNBC and Matthews asks Burnett to come closer to the camera. Mainly, to leer at her.
Now, it must be said that you could do something like this (maybe) if you're Brad Pitt but not if you're ancient like Chris Matthews or, to be fair, a blogger like me. (If I had the ability to seduce Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, I sure as hell wouldn't be doing this.)
From years of experience I've learned this : good looking people have more advantages and opportunities in life. I'm sorry you had to hear it from a blogger.
How many ugly people do you see in traffic court? How many ugly people do you see anchoring the news? How many ugly people do you see working in professional offices? Some but not that many.
The flip side is that someone who looks like Erin Burnett has to put up with old dudes like Chris Matthews or get called "The Street Sweetie" or have some people think you're only on tv because of your looks despite the B.A. in Political Economy. Still, it must be cool to at least have a shot at talking your way out of a speeding ticket.
VlogHog: Pretty on the inside.
