Evelyn Taft is the KCAL 9 Meteorologist for CBS based in Los Angeles, California. According to a media style book, you don't have to qualify Los Angeles...except to some of my readers.
Taft has a degree in meteorology from the great Mississippi State University. So, she is qualified to do the weather. Hey, I read it off of the KCAL website, so it must be true
No, she is not some hot actress who was hired to read the weather off the TelePrompter.
