New Changes Revealed in SAT Revamp

from The Associated Press: Essay optional. No penalties for wrong answers. The College Board revealed sweeping changes to the test Wednesday, saying it is trying to make the exam better representative of skills students need to succeed in college and afterward.

The only thing I'm worried about is no penalties for wrong answers. We're suppose to be training young people on how to be adults. Adults get penalized for wrong choices. (Yes, I know there are exceptions to that rule.)

And essay optional means most kids won't write the essay.

The Kahn Academy is offering free prep for the new test. So no excuses.
